Stock ROMs shouldn't ever come in a .zip file to my knowledge, its likely that the .tar is located within the .zip

I finally was able to install the stock t-mobile rom and that is pretty much it.  Since there is no link to the clockworkmod tar file and the file will never be restored I am stuck with the stock rom.  At least I have a working phone so I can sell it on ebay.

Pull out battery, put it back in. Hold Volume Up + Power. You will boot into Samsung Recovery. Select "wipe data/factory reset" and confirm. Now choose reboot system now. All done.

I have phone hang on samsung logo after root , i tried enter recovery mode by instruction "Pull out battery, put it back in. Hold Volume Up + Power."  but still samsung logo then i flashing by odin and same problem

need solution please

If re-flashing the recovery image didn't immediately reboot to recovery (as it should), then your only other viable option is to force a reboot using ADB.

Set up a functional ADB instance on your host machine, Google can help you here - its rather OS dependant, then simply enter:

Code: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
adb shell
reboot recovery

with your device connected via USB, at any point after the "SAMSUNG" boot splash.
If the device is capable of actually doing so, it will boot recovery at this point.

Things get a bit more complicated if there's not a functional recovery image on the device, but that's a bridge which I will cross with you only when necessary as a failed attempt to use flash_image could *really* brick your phone.

Since I already have CWM Recovery on my phone, do I just put the stock rom in my phone and do the install, or is it a special way you have to do to go back to stock rom. The HoneyCream is not working well with my phone.

Froyo (stock and customs like madrom) need to be flashed using ODIN
Do not use CWM
