[Re-Release] Motafoca Froyo 2.0.9 ROM - ClockworkMod Edition

Hey folks,

I'm re-releasing Motafoca's "classic" 2.0.9 Froyo ROM in the new update.zip format that's compatible with ClockworkMod.

Please keep in mind that I have not changed, updated or improved anything inside the ROM itself - it will work exactly the same as if you flashed the original release with Odin.

Motafoca plans to work on a new Froyo ROM based on 2.2.1 that will use ClockworkMod, and I'm sure that other ROMs will be converted in the near future. You have no excuse not to use ClockworkMod any more! 

How to install:

• If you haven't done so yet, install You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login via Odin.
• Download the .zip package from the link below, and transfer to your SD card.
• Reboot into ClockworkMod Recovery: adb shell reboot recovery
• If needed, perform a data-wipe: choose the option wipe data/factory reset, scroll down to Yes and wait for the wipe to complete.
• Choose the option install update from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard, select the file Motafoca-2.0.9-CWM.zip, scroll down to Yes and wait for the installation to finish.
• Repeat the same process as the previous step for the file Motafoca-2.0.9-CWM-compassfix.zip.
• You're finished! Reboot your phone.

Using CYM7 I can automatically switch to this version or I have to do something before?

I forgot about that. Does 2.0.9 really need a compass fix?

If it does, I can make a hotfix package for CWM (or you can flash with Odin if you're impatient).

Well, you can do a backup in CWM first - that's optional.

For changing from Gingerbread -> Froyo or Froyo -> Gingerbread, you always need to data-wipe. So do that.

yes u can backup all those roms (unofficials only) that use ext4 sytem. Official roms are rfs so we can not in this cwm version,  later we can do to official also......as told by psyke.

For the people who don't have adb, you can enter to terminal emulator and enter the next command:

su
reboot recovery
