That last gapps package got me the farthest, it got me prompted to sign into my google account, but when I tried the play store, I repeatedly got server error.
I would suggest to everyone testing to do a full wipe between gapps packages, thats the only way I could get any of them to do anything even if they installed ok

well, after full wipe and installing g-apps, still the only google app in my drawer was the play store.
without a wipe, and without that g-apps package, i would be prompted to register a google account, then when i would press 'ok', i would return directly to my app drawer every time
but with that one certain package after i did a data wipe/factory reset in CWM, i pressed the play store and when prompted to register a google account and pressing 'ok', i was actually taken to the google account login screen
without gapps, the only acc't you can register is an exchange account. i was able to register a gmail account after attempting to open the play store, but was greeted with a server error every time i tried to open the play store after signing into my google account
Best thing i can say is for everybody to re-test each g-apps pkg one by one with a data wipe in-between each one and maybe we get lucky with a working package

when i get off work, i'll grab all the google apps from here

and add them to /system/app then reboot, change permissions, reboot again, try to install them via Root Explorer, reboot, and see what happens.
That rom has g-apps included and working, and it's ICS, so theoretically should work
I'll let you know what happens

actually that's not true
it is gingerbread with build.prop edit, ics bootanimation, ics theme chooser theme, and different font
you forgot to change platlogo.jpg and tdyacht.jpg those are pretty dead giveaway for 2.3 lol
