[UPDATED] [Development] CyanogenMod 7.2.0 for Samsung Dart (SGH-T499)

in regards to the cyanogen port:
running much more stable now, had no idea what happened the first time i flashed it that made it have so many problems, but its going quite smoothly now, still a few hiccups here and there but overall much improved over stock rom.

Well he has never released his ROMS to the public he does it for his own fun pretty much.  But when I get the ROM I can share it he does not have a problem with that.  He has been making ROMS for years now and he makes pretty good ones I have ran his ROMS on most my android phones.  His turn out to be the most stable ones I have ever used.  I still have one of his ROMS for an old MOtorola Cliq XT phone running 2.3.7 and the phone came with like android 1.6 on it.  But as soon as he is done with it yeah I will share it after I run it for a few days first to make sure everything is working good on it first.  Also he does Hybrid OS for blackberry!

Make sure he releases the sources before he/you release the ROM

Just wondering, where am I supposed to get CyanogenMod 7.2.0-RC0 "Dart(SGH-T499)" Port?  Or maybe it isn't available yet.

I will not be posting the ROM on here when I get it I will get people's email addresses and send it straight to them.  I am not posting it on a forum like this.  My friend does all his own work with modding roms. Which he got a hold of Gingerbread for the Dart already so when is this one going to be released?

That's still distributing a ROM, so for it to be LEGAL you have to release sources. The other advantage to that would be that it would help out other people if something he git working in his source might be helpful to others and also me. Remember Android is a community OS, it was made with people working together.

He does the releasing of sources he said he knows what he has to do.  That is all on him but I got the stock gingerbread rom on my DART now and the stock rom is actually running pretty good.  I may not have to put a modded rom on it. Everything works great on it.

There is a stock gingerbread ROM for dart? If you can get that ROM to me, we can have a build in the next hour! I thought Samsung still hadn't released it.

its funny how we have a custom kernal and only a single rom ported. if u look at the rom thread on xda for the galaxy mini theres like 30 custom roms, so if the sgm and the dart r pretty much the same phones why dont we have have more roms. and the fact that theres no wifi calling app on r 1 port that we have makes it almost worth it to stay with the stock rom. i just dont get it  . im a willing tester i honestly dont care if i brick another one of these things

for the WiFi calling, I'm not on T-Mobile, so I can't test it. However, I have a few guys on the development channel who can test for me, so no worries, I'm working on it. Oh btw, about the bricking, we're past that part of our testing/development

Are you sure you did a data wipe after installation? A Data-wipe may solve the issue.

I'm confused is samsung releasing a stock GB update ROM for this phone?

I guess I will have to stick with 2.2 for now.

Yes they are releasing a stock GB update, but who knows when...
But why should you be stuck on stock Froyo?
The CM7 port that is already released runs quite well, just the button lights don't light up and a couple of other really small bugs, but it's far better than the stock rom.
